Are you anxious about going to the Dentist? Do you feel you have a lot of work to be done, but just don’t have the time for multiple appointments? Then, Sedation Dentistry may be for you.
Sedation Dentistry is a way for you to get your dental care done while you are relaxed. Our goal for your Sedation appointment is for you to be relaxed, comfortable, and happy.
You will come into our office for your initial appointment which consists of a comprehensive exam and x-rays. Dr. Droege will take the information we have collected from this appointment and develop a life-long plan for your oral health that he will share with you at your second appointment which is a consultation. From there we will ask you to look at your budget and priorities so that we can help you begin on your journey of good oral health and we will discuss this at your third appointment, the informed and consent appointment. At that appointment, we will get you scheduled for your sedation appointment and give you a pill to take 1 hour before your sedation appointment.
The day of your Sedation appointment, you will take the pill we gave you at your inform and consent appointment one hour before your scheduled appointment. You will need someone to bring you, stay in the office, drive you home, and stay with you until you are recovered. The first hour in our office we will concentrate on making you feel comfortable and relaxed and will start dental work after that first hour. There will be a team member with you the entire time checking your vital signs and assisting Dr. Droege with the procedure.
